Latest Videos of Iran - July 2nd to 4th/09

Artin has been posting a few videos that seem to be very recent as he mentions the date in the video itself.

*Shouts of Allahu Akbar on roof tops (dated by videographer as Tir 13, 1388, 10:31 pm - July 4th, 09) 

Chants of Allahu Akbar (God is great) are an eerie repeat of what was done every night leading to toppling of Shah in 1979 Revolution. There are endless reports that homes that have chanters on their rooftops are harassed by Basiji forces, their windows are broken, their intercom disabled and the residents harassed. Yet here they are in clear defiance.

* Students in Kashan University gather , sing and chant slogans (Kashan, a city in Central Iran)

First they sing "Yar-e dabestaniye man" (my friend of my school days - rough translation) - then they chant: with aid and faith in God we will be victorious, shame on this government that fools people, then a few seconds of chanting: student will die but will not accept defeat.
